To everything there is a season.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-12 (New King James Version)

Everything Has Its Time

1 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

2 A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
4 A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
8 A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace.

God is a God who plan for every single season in our life, there are seasons for us to build ourselves stronger, there are seasons for us to reach out to our friends, there are even seasons for us to understand ourselves better, of course there are seasons for breakthroughs. It is very important for us to know which season we are in, we must constantly pray to God, to let Him reveal it to us. It is very scary if we assume that we are in certain season, but actually that is not what God wants us to do right now.

Before a season of breakthrough, there is always a season of refinement.

Refinement means the removal of impurities or to purify certain materials. We are like a vessel in God’s eyes, we must constantly ask God to mould us. But it is not easy, refinement is always painful, but meaningful.

At certain points of our life, God always speak to us about certain areas we need to change in. If you catch it, you grow, you break through. If you miss it, you remain the same.

In tune with the Holy Spirit and be guided by Him, by moving in the seasons of God, we are going to change and grow.
